Solid Waste

Solid Waste is a division of the Public Works Department.  The Solid Waste Division responsible for managing the City of Kerrville’s residential solid waste collections and disposal operations.The City of Kerrville owns a municipal landfill, transfer station, and composting facility.  Republic Services is contracted to provide all collection services for residential customers. To protect public health and safety, the Solid Waste Division provides a variety of municipal solid waste services to residents that are safe, efficient, and environmentally responsible. The list of services include:

  • Collection of regular garbage
  • Collection of single stream recycling
  • Monthly collection for yard waste
  • Collections and drop off opportunities for bulky waste items
  • Household Hazardous Waste drop off event
  • Collection of dead animals
  • Recycling drop off station

​Minimum Fee- $21.17 (Less than 360 lbs.)
​No Tarp Fe- $12.00 per occurrence
