Jeff Harris was born and raised in Victoria, TX, until joining the United States Marine Corps. in 1992.
 
Jeff has been married to his best friend, Kristy, for 13 years. Kristy is a retired Detective with the Kerrville Police Department and is now the LMSW at Peterson Health. Jeff moved from Georgetown to Kerrville as a Golf Professional at Riverhill Country Club in 2005. In 2017, Jeff started work with Community First National Bank as a mortgage loan originator, and in January 2022, he was moved to Senior Vice President of Lending and Branch Executive of SouthStar Bank- Kerrville after the acquisition in September of 2021.

In his personal life, Jeff enjoys cooking, playing golf, spending time with Kristy, and traveling when they have the opportunity, and his newest endeavor is learning the tenor saxophone.

He balances his professional career, personal life, community service commitment to his dedicated boards, and dedication to the City of Kerrville as your elected City Council Member Place 2.
