Pool Rules

Olympic Pool Rules & Regulations

Facility rules are as follows:
  • No running
  • No diving in less than 5-feet
  • No open swim in the diving area
  • No public display of affection
  • No profanity
  • No gum, food, drink or glass in pool area
  • No inflatable devices or lifejackets in the diving area
  • Cut offs and street clothes prohibited in pool
  • No alcoholic beverages or tobacco products
  • No hanging, diving or playing on ladders or lane lines
  • Proper swim attire at all times
  • White t-shirts and sunscreen are encouraged
  • Shower before entering the pool
  • Swim diapers are required by diaper wearing patrons
  • Change diapers in the dressing rooms
  • Refreshments only allowed in lobby area
  • Children 11 and under must be accompanied by a responsible adult or guardian aged 17 years or over (proof of age required)
  • Lifeguards must be obeyed at all times

Diving Board Rules

Diving board rules are as follows:
  • Only one person at a time is permitted on the diving board and ladder
  • Each person must wait until the proceeding diver has exited the pool before diving
  • Lifeguards are to be obeyed at all times
  • Only one bounce is permitted on the diving board
  • Goggles, masks, or floatation devices are prohibited
  • Recreational swimming is not prohibited in the diving area
  • Maximum weight limit per board is 250 lbs.
  • Divers must drive straight off the front of the board, no diving or jumping from the side of the board
  • Running doves, handstands, cartwheels, inward dives and gainers are prohibited
  • Swim to the nearest ladder and exit the pool immediately
  • Running, pushing, causing undue disturbance, or other dangerous conduct is prohibited

Baby Pool Rules

Baby pool rules are as follows:
  • Adult supervision is required at all times
  • Baby pool generally for ages 5 years and under
  • Swim diapers required for diaper wearing patrons

Failure to follow rules can result in serious injury and may result in expulsion from the facility. Additional rules may be enforced.
