About the Library

The Library provides access to a balanced collection of print, multimedia and on-line materials; provides reference, readers' advisory and research assistance and offers a wide range of programs and activities designed to meet the needs of youth and adults.

Library Card Requirements


Library Card Registration


Need to register for or renew a library card but don't have time to visit the library? Please download and submit the registration form found here along with a copy of your photo ID. 

In-Person Registration


To obtain a library card, please bring a valid picture ID with your current physical address to the Circulation Desk. If the address on your ID is not current, please bring an official mailing with the current address shown (utility bill, insurance, etc.). Persons under 18 who wish to obtain a card must be accompanied by their parent/legal guardian.

Nonresidents who live outside of Kerr County will be required to pay a library membership fee to check out materials and/or use the public internet computers.

  • Annual Membership Computer Use Only $35
  • Annual Nonresident Full Membership $65
  • Monthly Nonresident Membership $8

To use the Internet computers, patrons will be required to have their library card or their library card number.
