Christmas Week
Wednesday, Dec. 24: Landfill closes at 2 p.m.
Thursday, Dec. 25: No garbage collection; landfill closed
Friday, Dec. 26: No recycling; makeup garbage collection for Thursday
Saturday, Dec. 27: Makeup recycling collection
New Year’s Week
Wednesday, Dec. 31: Landfill closes at 2 p.m.
Thursday, Jan. 1: No garbage collection; landfill closed
Friday, Jan. 2: No recycling; makeup garbage collection for Thursday
Saturday, Jan. 3: Makeup recycling collection
Special Christmas Garbage Collection
Republic Services will offer a special collection for extra bagged garbage from Dec. 26–31.
Extra trash must:
Be bagged and placed curbside with the cart by 7:30 a.m. on the regular garbage day
Weigh 35 pounds or less per bag
Be placed at least 3 feet from the cart
This service is not available on recycling days. Bagged trash will be collected by a separate truck later in the day.
