KERRVILLE, TX (Nov. 21, 2025) – The City of Kerrville is announcing Thanksgiving holiday closures, as well as adjustments to trash and recycling services for the week of Nov. 24–29. Additionally, Municipal Court will re-open within the new Public Safety Facility.
Municipal Court Closure & New Location
- Closed Mon.– Fri., Nov. 24–28 Thanksgiving week
- When the court reopens Mon., Dec. 1, services will resume at its new location:
365 Clearwater Paseo Drive, inside the City’s new Public Safety Facility
Waste Collection Schedule
Republic Services only collects trash placed inside the designated waste removal cart.
- No trash or recycling collection on Thanksgiving Day (Thu., Nov. 27).
- Thursday trash collection will occur Fri., Nov. 28.
- Friday recycling collection will occur Sat., Nov. 29.
Landfill
- Closed Thu., Nov. 27
- Reopens Fri., Nov. 28 at 7:30 a.m.

- Closed Thurs.–Sat., Nov. 27–29
- Reopen Mon., Dec. 2 at 8 a.m.
City Hall and City Secretary’s Office
Parks and Recreation Department & Kerrville-Schreiner Park
- Closed Thurs.–Fri., Nov. 27–28
- Reopen Sat., Nov. 29 at 8 a.m.
Scott Schreiner Municipal Golf Course
- Closed Thu., Nov. 27
- Resumes regular business hours Fri., Nov. 28 at 7 a.m.
