Kerrville, Texas (Nov. 17, 2025) – The City of Kerrville and the Kerrville Economic Improvement Corporation (EIC) have been informed that Megacrete will not proceed with plans to construct its headquarters and AAC manufacturing plant in Kerrville. Businesses routinely adjust long-term plans in response to market and supply chain decisions.
As a result, the property will remain with the EIC and continue to be designated for light-industrial use near the Kerrville–Kerr County Airport. There is no negative impact to the city or its taxpayers, and the site remains an important strategic asset for future development in support of Kerrville’s long-term economic goals.
“We respect Megacrete’s decision and appreciate the collaboration throughout this process, said Kerrville City Manager Dalton Rice. “With the 87-acre property remaining under EIC ownership, we are well-positioned for responsible, sustainable growth and look forward to pursuing new opportunities that strengthen our community and advance our shared economic vision.”
