Kerrville, Texas
(Nov. 14, 2025) – Locals and visitors alike are invited to attend the City of Kerrville’s 24th Annual Holiday Parade on Nov. 22 beginning at 6 p.m. CT, which will feature area First Responders as the parade’s Grand Marshals in recognition of their courage, dedication and steadfast service to our community.
Each year, Kerrville’s Holiday Lighted Parade is a celebration for all citizens, community members and visitors to kick off the holiday season together. Kerrville City Manager Dalton Rice said, “Each year, participants showcase their creativity with a wide variety of festive, brilliantly decorated floats, and we’re excited to see what they bring to life this season.” This year’s Grand Marshals signify the unity and resilience that define Kerrville, shining a light on those who answer the call—day and night—to protect and serve. First Responders from the City of Kerrville, volunteer fire departments in Center Point, Ingram, Hunt and Turtle Creek, the Texas Department of Public Safety, Texas Game Wardens and the Kerr County Sheriff’s Office are invited to participate as honorary Grand Marshals. The parade runs approximately 1.5 miles through the downtown area.
“Kerrville has always been a community that lifts one another up,” said Jay Brimhall, director of Kerrville Parks and Recreation. “We wanted to recognize our First Responders for their continued service and the strength they bring to our community. Many in and out of the uniform found themselves on the front lines back in July. This year’s parade is also a reflection of the compassion and support that make Kerrville such a special Hill Country home—where neighbors help neighbors and community spirit shines brightest. That’s what makes us Kerrville Strong!”
Commuters and visitors should review the downtown road closures map if they have plans during the day of Nov. 22. Some roads will begin closing as early as 11:30 a.m. CT in preparation of the parade.
