1. How can I get a library card?

The Library primarily serves the residents of Kerrville and surrounding communities, however anyone is eligible for a library card. Please contact the Library at 830-257-8422 or stop by at 505 Water Street in Kerrville for additional details.

2. How do I use the LIbrary's wireless (Wi-Fi) access?

Free wireless internet access is accessible in the Library to any patron who comes in with a wi-fi enabled laptop. Start up your laptop and open your web browser. You should connect to the wireless network. If necessary, change your internet connection settings to obtain an IP address automatically, then restart your laptop.

As with any Wi-Fi access, you should disable both file and print sharing and maintain up-to-date anti-virus protection. Printing is not available over the wireless connection, but is possible from the workstations in the Library.

3. Can I borrow materials from other libraries?

We can request for you from other libraries through InterLibrary Loan. Availability and loan periods may vary. We will notify you of any fees charged by the lending library.
