On August 23, 2013 at approximately 4:07 pm, the Bank of the Hills-Comerica located at 1015 Sidney Baker South was robbed.
The unknown male suspect was described to be in his 30’s, wearing a green and white polo type shirt, khaki shorts, and a red cap with sunglasses on his cap. The suspect is described as heavy build, approximately 6’ in height. The suspect took an undisclosed amount of cash from the clerk and departed from the bank on foot.
On the same day at approximately 4:24 pm, a second bank - BBVA Compass Bank located at 1425 Sidney Baker North was also robbed.
The unknown male suspect in this incident was described wearing a blue t-shirt, blue shorts, and a red cap (see attached picture). The suspect also took an undisclosed amount of cash from the clerk and departed from the bank on foot.
Preliminary investigation indicates that the bank robbery suspect in both incidents appears to be the same person. No weapons were displayed and no one was reported hurt as a result of the robberies.
The Kerrville Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Unit (C.I.U.) and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (F.B.I.) are jointly investigating both bank robberies. C.I.U. is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect.
