On April 21, Chief John Young was awarded a Certificate of Achievement at a banquet at the Texas Police Chief’s Association Conference, held in Austin, Texas.

Chief Young was recognized for his leadership and commitment to professional law enforcement and significant contributions he made to achieve Recognized status for the Kerrville Police Department.

Lieutenant Curtis Thomason also received a Certificate of Achievement and was recognized for his leadership, dedication, and contribution as the Program Manager to Texas and Law Enforcement Best Practices Recognition Program.

Captains David Knight and Jeff Wendling also attended the banquet to congratulate the Chief and the Lieutenant for their achievements.
