Kevin Coleman has accepted the position of Director of Development Services for the City of Kerrville. His first day with the City of Kerrville is scheduled for February 12.

City Hires Director of Development Services


Kevin Coleman has accepted the position of Director of Development Services for the City of Kerrville, according to Kerrville City Manager Paul Hofmann. Mr. Coleman is currently the Executive Director for the Abilene Habitat for Humanity. His first day with the City of Kerrville is scheduled for February 12. Mr. Coleman is married and has two daughters.

“I am very excited about Kevin and the experiences and qualifications he brings to the City of Kerrville”, said Hofmann, adding, “Kevin has managed the development process from the perspective of a developer, including the full range of land design and land use issues. He will bring a unique perspective to our ongoing objective of managing a positive relationship with the development community.”

Mr. Coleman’s responsibilities with Kerrville will include current and long-range planning, building inspections, and code enforcement. His experience includes time as City Manager for Dewey, Oklahoma. Mr. Coleman holds a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from the University of Kansas.

“I hope that my prior experience and education serve to make me an essential part of the City’s management team, as well as represent its interests in the future growth of the community. My family and I are excited to have the opportunity enjoy all that Kerrville has to offer,” Kevin Coleman said.
