Kerrville Parks and Recreation Department hosted a Local competition of NFL Punt, Pass & Kick on Saturday, September 25, 2010. Local football enthusiasts participated at Peterson Middle School for the chance to advance to the Sectional level that will be held in San Antonio on Saturday, October 23, 2010

“Punt, Pass and Kick is just another opportunity for our youth to compete and become more active,” stated
Yoncy Edmonds Athletics/Recreation Coordinator. “We always hope that the Local champions will score well at the Sectional competition and ultimately qualify for the Team Championship.” They, along with other regional participants from locals held in Fredericksburg, Burnet, New Braunfels, Seguin, Boerne and San Antonio, will compete in order to try for qualification for the Houston Texans Team Championship competition. The Team Championship is scheduled to be in conjunction with the Houston Texans versus Indianapolis Colts game on Sunday, November 7, at Reliant Stadium in Houston. The NFL Punt, Pass & Kick competition is administered by NFL Properties LLC.
