On September 20, 2010 at 3:30pm, Kerrville Police Department Traffic Officer Jonathan R. Cline was sworn in as a Sergeant. Chief John M. Young administered the oath of office to Cline during a promotional ceremony held at the Kerrville Police Department, where he received his stripes and Sergeant's badge for his promotion. Cline will be assigned to the Field Operations Division as a patrol supervisor.

Cline has been with the Kerrville Police Department for 5 years. Cline holds an Intermediate Peace Officer and Firearms Instructor certification. Cline has served in Patrol and most recently the Traffic Division. Cline is currently a member of the Special Operations Unit.
