Under general direction of the City Manager and City Attorney, provide multifaceted and confidential administrative support, including scheduling of calendars; tracking and managing projects; reviewing mail; organizing, coordinating, and preparing for public and staff meetings; drafting correspondence; taking and transcribing dictation; typing, filing, and record keeping; and facilitating and helping to resolve complex complaints and issues. In addition, conducts or facilitates research, manages data gathering processes/projects, and compiles and publishes comprehensive reports. Finally, provides administrative support to the Mayor and City Council. Exercises direct supervision over assigned staff.
