[ARCHIVED] Scott Schreiner Golf Course Temporary Closure

Due to heavy rains and flooding along Quinlan Creek Tuesday evening, the Scott Schreiner Golf Course suffered significant debris damage along holes 1,3,4,6,7, 8, 12, and 17.

Due to heavy rains and flooding along Quinlan Creek Tuesday evening, the Scott Schreiner Golf Course will remain closed all of Wednesday May 18th.
The golf course suffered significant debris damage along holes 1,3,4,6,7, 8, 12, and 17. There was also damage to the bridge on hole number 12, which connects the tee to the fairway. The majority of the holes affected border Quinlan Creek.
With the threat of more rain in the area Wednesday night and into next week, golf course conditions will be evaluated each morning to determine if the course can be open to the public.
“Our plan for Thursday is for each golfer to play the front 9 twice to post an 18 hole round. Without any more rain overnight the water should recede to a level where we can assess the damage to the bridge and put a plan in place for alternate route to access holes 12-16 going forward beginning Friday,” said Scott McDonough, Director of Golf Operations.
If you have any questions regarding tee times you can call the golf shop at (830) 257-4982.
