[ARCHIVED] KPD Announces New Assignments

On December 17, 2014, Kerrville Police Department (KPD) Officer Ben Eubank was selected as the newest Community Services (CSO) / Public Information Officer (PIO). Officer Eubank will begin his new assignment on January 5, 2015.

Officer Eubank has been with the KPD for more than 3 years. He began his career at KPD in Patrol under the Field Operations Unit in 2011. During his tenure, Officer Eubank has obtained the following certifications: Certified Child Passenger Safety Technician, Intoxilyzer Operator, and Evidence Technician.

Officer Eubank fills the CSO/PIO position created by Officer Paul Gonzales who was selected as the newest School Resource Officer (SRO) for Tivy High School on November 24, 2014. Officer Gonzales, a police veteran of nearly 20 years of service, served as the department’s CSO/PIO the past 6 years.

Officer Gonzales fills the SRO position created by Officer David Torres who officially retires on December 31, 2014, after serving in law enforcement for over 30 years.
