Kerrville River Festival


The Kerrville Parks and Recreation Department invites you to come out and celebrate the 3rd Annual Kerrville River Festival. This free, and open to the public event, will create a fun environment for your friends and family in the Kerrville area and anyone here to visit.

Event activities include a free kids area, food, drinks, and music from exciting live bands! To end the night with a bang, there will even be fireworks (weather permitting) to follow! Did we mention it is a FREE event?

Kyle Park

Kyle Park: 8:15pm - 9:45pm

Kyle Park is an accomplished Texas songwriter and storyteller. His signature style is a “neo-traditional country sound brimming with honkytonk-fueled fiddle, pedal steel and searing guitar riffs punctuated by honest and contemplative lyrics.” Playing as far and wide as Alaska and Germany, we are so excited to welcome him to Kerrville! 

Michael Salgado3
Michael Salgado: 6:00pm - 7:30pm

A talented, tried and true Texas Tejano and country legend, Michael Salgado has been on the Texas music scene since 1995. Since then, he has been honored with multiple Grammys and released more than 20 albums! Know for playing his signature left-handed accordion, Michael Salgado is also credited for introducing the norteño sound to a younger generation. 

Shake Russell
Shake Russell: 4:45pm - 5:30pm

Shake Russell is an accomplished Texas songwriter with a style of folk-rock all his own. Falling under the Americana genre, Shake Russell is an accomplished musician with 30 released albums to date. The Austin Songwriters Association inducted Shake into the Music Legends Hall of Fame in 2016. In 2013, he was awarded a Lifetime Achievement Award by the Texas Music Association.

Walk Wilkins
Walt Wilkins: 3:30pm - 4:15pm

A self-described "songwriter, singer, traveler, and troubadour," Walt Wilkins has been a full-time country musician for 25 years. As an accomplished songwriter, Walt Wilkins has recorded 9 solo albums and has written over 100 songs recorded by other artists. A staple of Luckenbach Dance Hall, you can find Walt playing there the first Sunday of every month.
